Project Vision
To create a responsive website of cooking tutorials, so that users may be able to access tutorials and tips easily and quickly.
Challenges
1) Create a user flow that is easy to follow
2) Create a responsive website that is organized
and consistent through different sizes
3) To have tutorials in one place
Site Map
Starting off with a site map allowed me to have a quick layout of how the websites information will be organized.
Paper/Digital Wireframes
The goal throughout this process was to create as many ideas as possible based off of the research done. It was also to try and create a clean and clear cut design that users could use easily.
The low-fidelity prototype shows how the app could possibly function before being refined.
Refining The Design
Going into the mock up stage it was very important to make sure that the design was user friendly and consistent through devices.
Mockups
Going through the mockup stage it was important to refine the designs and use colors and fonts that were easy to read and see.
The high-fidelity prototype shows how the website could possibly function.
Responsive Mobile App

Accessibility Considerations

The use of white space and the use of contrasting colors allows and text allows for the user to read easier.

Making sure that the information hierarchy is organized and spread out allows for the user to navigate through the app easier.

The calls to action are easy to read and labeled correctly that way screen readers could be used.

Takeaways
What i took away from this project was that it can be difficult to design for a responsive website. I learned that it is a whole process from the beginning whether to design from top down or bottom up order. I hope to learn more in the future with responsive design work!
